Abstract

The work is devoted to assessing the adaptive abilities of the Siberian cedrine pine pigment complex (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) to respond to seasonal changes in urbanized areas (using the example of Sur-gut). The indices of the content of the main photosynthetic pigments and the amounts of flavonoids in Siberian pine needles are given. It was established that the peak of photosynthetic activity was ob-served for the needles of the second and third year of life, both in the period of active metabolism and in the period of winter dormancy. The interrelation of the sum of flavonoids against the background of accumulation of photosynthetic pigments, which confirms the protective role of flavonoids against oxidative damage to the photosynthetic apparatus of plants, is presented. According to the results of studies of seasonal changes in the pigment complex of Siberian pine, it was shown that the photosynthetic potential depends on a number of environmental factors and the ability to adapt to the stressful conditions of an urbanized environment. For bioindicative purposes, the use of indicators for the con-tent of all photosynthetic pigments and their structural relationships for Siberian pine is possible year- round.
