Abstract

The study examines a number of environmental certification systems for green architecture and provides a comparison of such systems namely Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method BREEAM (UK), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED (USA), Haute Qualite Environnementale HQE (France). The questions related to practical application of green certification systems in Russia are considered. The object of the study is the eco-sustainable design standards. The subject is the comparison of parameters of different green certification systems. The purpose of the study is to identify the features and directions of the green design development.
