Abstract

World experience of spatial development of cities determines the need for their sustainable development, including the development of public spaces on city streets to improve the quality of life of the population and achieve a high level of comfort in the urban environment. Based on the analysis of the existing experience, the article considers the actual formations of public spaces on city streets using the example of Moscow. The authors have proposed a method for evaluating various scenarios for the development of city streets regarding the use of territories as public spaces using the strategic planning tool PESTLE- analysis.
