Abstract

Under field conditions at the experimental site, artificial soil contamination with 90SrCl2 at different depths (0 cm, 50 cm) was carried out and cherry plum seedlings (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh) were planted. The purpose of this study is to monitor the radionuclide intake (90Sr) in cherry plum leaves (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh) for 6 years with a superficial and deep location of 90SrCl2 in the soil. The results of phytomonitoring showed the presence of radioactive contamination in the leaf plates of the cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh) in the form of a radionuclide — 90Sr, regardless of the planting depth of the plant. The results of the conducted studies are the basis for a deeper study of the response of the plant community in response to environmental pollution and the continuation of research in the field of phytomonitoring. Cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh) — a plant that is widely found in the wild and in the southern federal district can be used as a test object for phytonomonitoring of soil radioactive contamination at the pre-design stage (EIA, engineering and environmental research, etc.). soil-soil sampling numbers using traditional soil research methods.
