Abstract | The changes in the proportion of the Australian states in the countrys GDP (in terms of Gross value added), and in the share of manufacturing, mining, agriculture and service industries in each state in the conditions of globalization during the period from 1990 to 2014 have been studied for the first time. It is shown that the states of New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria are the leaders of post-industrial development in Australia, where manufacturing and service industries are actively developing. The economy of Western Australia is booming due to the expansion of the mining industry. The Capital Territory is the smallest in size, there only the service sector is actually developed. |
Keywords | Australian states, Australian territories, GDP, GRP, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, service industry. |
