ECO-ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT WITHIN RIVER BASINS

The outlined contradiction between the geography and the internal structure of the protected areas and the fundamental principles of the integrity of natural-economic complexes is indicated. The problem of low functional effectiveness of fragmented protected areas in the system of mountain-valley environmental management is considered. It is proposed to complete the randomly located PAs within the river basins to the level of ecological and economic frameworks with the further formation on their basis of ecological and economic zones with specified properties.
