Abstract | In the present study there has been assessed the structure of soil microorganisms community in the area of storage facility for radioactive waste in Obninsk. The objects of research are sixteen soil samples selected from the territory of storage facility for radioactive waste and beyond. Two soil samples (№ K and № K1) from similar ecosystems of woodland park zone in Obninsk were used as a control. We did the isolation of DNA from all soil samples and conducted PCR with subsequent analysis of its products based on gradient electrophoresis gel (then with conducting a comparative analysis between acquired DNA nucleotide sequence and nucleotide sequences from GeneBank base). As a result, there were identified dominant organisms, discovered in all soil samples (including control ones) which could carry on with different stressful situations such as the presence of herbicides, heavy metals, radionuclides and oil products. The rest microflora also offers high resistance to stress. |
