Abstract | The article describes the results of research on the design of recreational spaces, including on the exploited coatings. The generalized solutions proposed by the authors on the formation of greenery objects of the “green” city, including on the exploited coatings, are one of the possible options aimed at the formation of a sustainable living environment. The life cycle of buildings is constantly decreasing, the purpose of the territories, and the picture of the metropolitan street-road network can completely change. In such conditions, the speed of formation of green territories often does not correspond to the speed of evolution of the architectural and town-planning environment, and planting of large-sized trees is associated with a number of difficulties arising during the growth of urban areas. An essential problem of using plants on exploited coatings is the volume of the root system and other related to the need to provide sufficient qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the substrate for their development. In this regard, there is a need to use additional space, presented in a certain number of architectural and town- planning solutions, and especially when designing “green” operated coatings in the form of phyto-metal structures. |
Keywords | sustainable development, scientific and technological progress, exploited coatings, spatial “green” frame, phyto-metal structures. |
