Abstract

The article deals with the processes of changing the settlement structure of urban and rural settlements in the Moscow region, the result of which is the formation of new urban districts in the place of municipal districts. As a result of this process, the densification of residential and industrial buildings in villages and villages becomes more severe, which leads to a deterioration of the ecological situation. Data on the assessment of rural settlements in Moscow (Voronovskoye, Klenovskoye, Krasnopakhorskoye) based on the four-component model of sustainable development are presented. The highest development index is the Krasnophorskoye RS, which is due to the high development of the engineering infrastructure and the good connectivity of the settlement with other areas of Moscow, a new housing stock. The example of the Krasnopakhorskoye RS shows that the deterioration of the ecological situation leads to a decrease in the development index only as a result of an increase in the area of territories requiring rehabilitation.
