Abstract

The ecological safety assessment of the air environment of geo-systems of Russian Federation's federal districts is given. As a result, it is revealed that the following anthropogenic factors have influence on the atmospheric air of geosystems: demographic load, industrial load, radiation load, transport load (17 indicators in total), which serve as the indicators of sustainable development of the territory. It is revealed that the ecological safety of the air environment of the territory depends on the current flows of emissions of harmful substances (HS) from stationary sources, the amount of emissions from motor transport, the characteristics of the level of pollution influencing directly on the indicators of medical and demographic losses caused with air pollution (20 indicators in total), which are indicators of territory destruction. Scoring system for assessing the degree of influence of anthropogenic and natural factors on the quality of the air environment, the level of negative impact and the state of population's health is proposed, which allows to analyze the indicators having different units of measurement. The analytical graph of the indicator is constructed for visual evaluation, which has different color shades depending on the degree of influence on the intensity of the ecological situation of the territory. In accordance with the methodology which is proposed by the author the final stage of early studies is the calculation of the total and average score of the ecological safety indicator which is occurred with the purpose of compiling a rating of federal districts on the scoring system and people's average life expectancy. The strategy of ecological safety of the air environment of cities located in the conditions of intercontinental intermountane hollows (on the example of the Siberian federal district) is developed with the purpose of management optimization.
