Abstract

The main results of motor transport research in the territory of the towns Dubna Moscow region, Kimry and Kashin Tver region are presented in the article. The dynamic analysis of a situation allows to draw conclusions on such general tendencies for the cities as high level of automobilization, growth of motor vehicle number, the increased traffic load in the town centre, excess of the established standard rates on nitrogen dioxide and oxide, carbon oxide and lead, insufficiency of road net upgrade. Motor transport emissions amounts are comparable or exceed industrial emissions amounts. Even in small towns motor transport influences on environment components and increases level of ecological risk for population health.
