Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of environmental safety and nature management on transport in Russia and abroad. The research allowed to identify and emphasize the role of the state in solving problems of ecology and nature management on transport. Was considered the legislative framework, both in Russia and in the USA, and identified the main activities in the sphere of environmental management in transport. Special attention was paid to the study of the environment and natural resources transportation in Penza and the Penza region. The analysis of the state of environmental management in transport helped to identify the main sources of pollution and to consider measures to reduce negative impacts on the environment in the region and the country as a whole.
