Abstract

Article introduces the results of research on plant species of the Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo state park using satellite imagery and specifies plants’ state by land monitoring studies. Decryption of images allows us to conclude about park plants’ state of well-being at the moment and predict some possible changes in the future. Authors define indicators that show a degree of plant environmental well-being and the effect of environment on human living conditions. The higher and lower plants are used as bio-indicators of the environmental pollution, as they react to any changes in the environment by changing essential processes, such as speed of plant growth, seasonal development, intensity of flowering and fruiting, photo — synthesis and respiration, morphological characteristics of the plant.

Keywords
