Abstract

In the present article the problem of disposal of contaminated sediments (and soils) polluted by anthropogenic pollutants, the problem of their use in agriculture are considered. The results of researches on the content of heavy metals in plants grown with the use of contaminated sediments are given. Impact of sediments with different level of contamination on processes of migration and accumulation of pollutants in plants is considered. It is specified that by similar researches environmental problem is need to consider not only the migration of toxic substances from the soil into the plant, as well as that fact that the pollutants can entered man via the food chain, part of which are plants. It is noted that the executed researches deal only with the first link of a this chain — plants, which directly contact to the soil polluted by contaminated sediments (and soils).

Keywords
