Abstract

The authors propose a theoretical model to study the mechanism of infrasound, which is a cylinder of air flow (in the absence of wind). The results of the design of the experiment on different brands of cars, identified the connection of external infrasound on the speed, drag coefficient, length and height of the vehicle. The results of field studies of infrasound level at two streets. According to the results of the experiment carried out environmental assessment of the actual and the expected level of infrasound in various parts of the city. Recommendations on the development of environmental monitoring and reduction of infrasound main areas in the urban environment.

Keywords

infrasound, traffic, environmental assessment, a theoretical model, vortex shedding, infra- sonic pressure drag coefficient, wheel harmonics, speed, field studies.
