Abstract |
The paper reviews four landfills for disposal of municipal solid waste landfills, located in the Irkutsk agglomeration. Waste placed on landfills, are a source of greenhouse gases. As a result of decomposition of waste generated biogas (LFG). The main components of LFG are methane and carbon dioxide. In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions defined potential of biogas of landfills Irkutsk agglomeration. The calculation of emissions is carried out according to commonly known mathematical models Based on the expedience criterion the potential landfills have been detected which can be used as an alternative power sources. The results of the research can be used for realising of biogas treatment projects on the considered landfills. |
