Abstract

The object of our research was to develop engineering activities aimed on rehabilitation of contaminated territories; on improvement of ecological conditions in human settlements at the expense of lower doses of internal and external irradiation. Background ionizing radiation in the field was determined by the standard dosimetry equipment. Samples of soil were selected in accordance with existing regulations in field studies conducting. With selected samples in the laboratory it were studied the processes of water migration of radionuclides. The change of radioactivity in experimental determined at radiometer with 15-th repetitions of each dimension. The relative error of measurement was not more than 2—3 %. The total number of laboratory and field experiments is 108, leaching irrigations are 890. For the purpose of optimum use of meliorative actions, it is developed the technologies of leaching of radio nuclides from the soil, which help to create a turbulent filtration in capillaries of soils. Technologies of irrigation are focused on using of irrigation machines, technology of washing when flooding «cesium spots» - on using of snow melt water during the autumn period. The offered technology of watering with flooding of a surface of soils provides cesium extraction, on average, at single watering of 1,3—1,8 %.
